50/50 split raffle. Drawing will be on Nov 15th in Savannah, GA. You do not need to be present to win. Winner will be contacted by email/phone and announced on our social media channels.
Tickets are $20 each. All proceeds go to support the Southeast BBQ Championship and our charitable partners. Participation is open to individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older.
There is no reserve or limit on the 50/50 raffle. The more tickets sold, the bigger the pot! 50% of the gross proceeds from ticket sales at the close of business on Nov 15th, 2025 will be awarded to the winner.
50/50 RAFFLE OFFICIAL RULES AND TERMS
1. SPONSOR
The Southeast BBQ Championship, Inc., a [501(c)(3) nonprofit organization], located at PO Box 182, Evans, GA 30809, is conducting this 50/50 raffle ("Raffle").
2. ELIGIBILITY
Participation is open to individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees, officers, and directors of Southeast BBQ Championship and their immediate family members may participate but are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited by law.
3. RAFFLE PERIOD
Ticket sales begin Wednesday, September 10, 2025 and end at close of business, November 15, 2025. The drawing will be held on November 15, 2025 at Savannah, GA.
4. TICKET PURCHASE
Tickets are $20.00 each. There is no limit on the number of tickets an individual may purchase. Tickets are available for purchase at https://southeastbbqchampionship.org/raffle. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Tickets are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
5. PRIZE
The winner will receive fifty percent (50%) of the gross proceeds from ticket sales. The remaining fifty percent (50%) will benefit Southeast BBQ Championship and its charitable purposes. The total prize amount will be announced at the time of drawing.
6. DRAWING AND WINNER NOTIFICATION
The winning ticket will be selected in a random drawing conducted at Savannah GA, on November 15, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Winner need not be present to win. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email using the contact information provided at time of purchase. If winner cannot be contacted within 30 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
7. PRIZE CLAIM
Winner must claim prize within thirty (30) days of notification. Unclaimed prizes will be retained by Southeast BBQ Championship. Winner must provide valid identification and complete all required tax forms (IRS Form W-2G will be issued for prizes over $600).
8. TAXES
Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prize. Southeast BBQ Championship will report winnings as required by law.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Southeast BBQ Championship, which are final and binding. Southeast BBQ Championship reserves the right to cancel or modify the Raffle if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Raffle.
10. RELEASE
By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Southeast BBQ Championship, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in this Raffle or acceptance of any prize.
11. GOVERNING LAW
This Raffle is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
12. LICENSE
This Raffle is conducted under Georgia law.
