SBC membership will be required for cooks to be eligible to win Southeast BBQ Championship SCA division cash prizes and trophies.​

When you become a member of the SBC, you are actively supporting outreach in communities through SCA competitions.  This means much more than the opportunity for additional prize money; it also means:​

• Enabling the SBC to donate to important charities operating in our states
• Encouraging organizers to host contests and become SBC qualifying events
• Exclusive to SBC Member-only events and resources
• Sharing of knowledge and resources of SBC members and non-members alike.​

Membership is annual and renews automatically one year from your signup date unless canceled before the renewal date. Once a renewal payment is processed, it is non-refundable. You can view your renewal date and cancel your membership by logging into your profile on the website.

If a renewal payment fails, your membership must be brought current within 15 days of expiration to remain eligible for all contests entered during that period. Members whose membership lapses will no longer earn points and will forfeit all points earned during the current calendar year. SCA points begin Jan 1 2027. 

SCA Team Membership Cost:

$50 annually. Membership renews automatically if not cancelled before the renewal date. No refunds, all sales final.
